Present: Jack Zimmerman, Frank Lyons, Dave Wulfsohn, Chuck Cason, Joe Warren, George Wacaser, Ken Shepard.  Absent: Ron Grande, Dan Martin. Guests: Joe Mastrocinque, Gary Olson.
President Jack Zimmerman called the meeting to order at 1:20pm. Minutes of the May 8, 2019 board meeting were unanimously approved. There was no financial report.                            

                                                      OLD BUSINESS
This past winter season we had 39 paid sponsors but only 34 teams, so 5 sponsorships were held in abeyance. Jack and Frank sent letters to 37 sponsors & will send a 2nd letter as needed in 2-3 weeks.
Frank had information on Hometeams which we can use as our webmaster.
For now the board decided not to take action against Bob Hennings. We’ll wait & see if he registers for the 2019-2020 winter leagues.
                                                      NEW BUSINESS
        1. We discussed different playoff methods that could be used if we go that route after the 2019-2020 winter leagues. Nothing decided today.
        2. Next year’s annual banquet is March 18, 2020. Joe is determining whether it’s feasible to have the luncheon at the hotel behind Der Dutchman restaurant.
        3. We discussed whether to continue the hot dog & pizza days. The board feels it’s a good way for players to spend time together in a non competitive environment.   
        4. We discussed whether to have teams first use roster players before using non roster players as subs. We’ll stick with our current system.
        5. Joe Mastrocinque is the administrator of our Facebook page which currently has about 90 members. Ken will be the co-administrator. Joe & Ken will look at ways we can use Facebook to promote SSSA.
        6. Gary Olson said using the Chamber of Commerce is too expensive. The Farmers Market did not respond to his requests for SSSA to have a booth. We would like to have a one page flyer which could be passed out at public events. Frank will work on a flyer.
        7. The drafts for the 2019-2020 winter leagues are scheduled for 10am – 1:30pm on October 15, 16, 17 (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) at the MLK Library.
        8. Chuck, Jack & Ken will work together on preparing next year’s budget.
Next month’s meeting is 1pm, Wednesday, July 10 at the MLK Library. Today’s meeting adjourned at 3pm.
