Approve Minutes:
February minutes approved with the following changes:
- “Past Players” for the Spirit Awards removed and will include current players also;
Financial Report:
Income and expenses for the month were even. Association in sound financial position. A motion to approve the financial report was made and approved.
Coordinator Updates:
No New Issues Reported by Coordinators

Member Reports:
Two summer sponsors needed; Marc Galloway and George Wacaser
may each have a sponsor.
George Wacaser reported there are too many player leads for him to handle; there may be a need for a “New Player” coordinator.
April Board meeting will be April 1st, 2026.
Old Business:
Amish Games Updates – Zimmerman family pleased about the dedication of the games. $37,000 was raised from the event, part of which will be used for a new barn, fireplace and roof at the camp. Channel 8 and SNN reported the event on television.
Some ideas were brought forward to improve the event as follows:
- No one followed up with players not playing in event; next time follow up needs to take place
- Have 4th game with B&C players
- Limit number of times players can play in event
- Request for a 5th team next year
A motion was made that a player can’t play more than 2 consecutive years, must then be off 1 year, then re-eligible. Motion Passed.
Pizza Days at fields are as follows: C League March 12; B League March 16; A League March 25; sponsored by MJ Benefits & Archway Health.
Managers Appreciation Dinner – to be held Sunday, Marh 22, 2026
Combine to be held March 14, 2026
End of Season Rating Updates – submitted to George Wacaser
Summer A League Only –
- Coordinators set up for summer; A & B need mgrs list
- Pickups for Playoff Games come from other team rosters; 2nd pick will have choice of being Home or Visitor Team – Motion Passed
- No longer will there be permanent replacements – just weekly drafts – Motion Passed
- Playoff Schedule: Motion made to have 2 games for playoffs; no mercy rule, play entire 7 innings; if a split, then most runs scored in total of both games wins - Motion Passed
- Motion made for a new “No Walk” rule. 1 “no-walk” player will be designated per game; if a no-walk player is walked, another player goes to 1st base and player continues to bat with a new count. This will continue for as many times as the batter is walked. A strike eliminates the “no walk”; does not apply in the 7th inning. – Motion Passed
New Business:
Upcoming Board Elections – waiting on final candidates.
Spring Golf Tournament Fundraiser – fundraiser for SSSA discussed and it was suggested ideas for fundraisers be considered and presented at the next board meeting.
