A. Call To order at 12:16 PM
B. Approval of minutes from 1-13 – Approved with one change. It was voted on and approved that selective rainouts will be made up instead of having playoff games.
C. Financial Report- Sarasota county reports that $1300 is owed for field(s) use. RG will review dates and report to the Board. Insurance costs have been adjusted to to lack of playing dates caused by Covid.

Old Business

1. Magic Jack phone system for rainout was voted on and approved. Cost is $57 for first year. Motion passed to try it for 10 months.
2. Business cards deferred to next month after elections are finalized
3. Elections – only Dan Martin is not running for reelection for candidates whose terms are up. On line voting Feb 26 to March 3. Must be an active player to vote
4. March 15 and 16 will be Hot Dog days. Will have a vendor food truck. 80 year old players plaques, Fred Ford and Recognition plaques to be presented. Recognition committee formed. Cason, Zimmerman and D'Angelo.
5. New SSSA logo was voted on and approved. Will vote on one hat for the entire league at a later date.
6. Gold 1 protest. Ruled runner at third base is out, 3 runs taken away as a penalty game over. Protest denied.
7. Thursday Silver protest (Team 2) Opponent replaced a 6 rated player with a 3. Protest upheld 6-3. Second game score will be recorded as 9-0.

New Business

1. Summer League Gold 2 league formation. Play on Monday, open to players rated 4-7. Make Thursday Silver League. Gold 1 play on Wednesday.
2. Payment for screen repairs.
3. Discuss if main team manager should be required to pay dues.
4. Field work planned by Sarasota county.
