August Minutes

 

Call to order 12:30pm

 

Present - George Wacaser, Gary Goldberg, Todd Schwartz, Scott Kurkjian,

Marc Calloway, Carl Pallas, Roman Zareczny with Mark McCool participation by phone.

 

July Minutes -  Approved with change of C league to “14 player requirement.”

 

Financial Report - Fields paid through Oct.

 

Coordinator Updates - 

A memorial was held in respect to Jack Zimmerman passing at the ball field.

Discussion with regard to honoring Jack Zimmerman in future Amish games.

 

Member Reports - 

Motion to add a fourth Amish game. Voted and approved.

17th st shed cleaned and organized. 5 screens repaired. New keys made for members.

 

New Business added to Sept Meeting -

Fees for winter Call Ups.

Runner Replacement.

Screen called strike or add 1 warning.

“3” Rated players playing in B league.

Sponsorship update.

 

Old Business-

Managers appreciation dinner will not have wives.

Field reservations times will be set at 3 hours. Motion voted and approved.

Current managers needed for winter league -

“A” Monday 1, “A” Wed 1, “B” Monday 5, “B” Friday 4, “C” Tuesday 1, “C” Thursday 0

 

Sponsorship-

$300 to sponsor either Summer or Winter league. $500 if sponsor does both Summer and Winter leagues. Motion voted and approved.
