Purpose
A special meeting was requested by several board members regarding the behavior of Jay Wolfinger. It was stated that he has violated the terms of his current suspension (inappropriate behavior as a manager). Many have felt that he has assumed a position of acting as a co-manager to Sands Robnick. He has been involved at several call-up meetings, and appears to be aiding in the call up selections. He has also been helping other teams with their defense of opponents, and has been warned of these violations.
The perceived offenses were read, and a debate centered on whether they were legitimate or merely here say. A motion was made to suspend/ban Jay immediately. The motion was seconded. There were 3 votes for and 3 against with one abstain.
A discussion then took place concerning the need for a vote and its appropriateness. It was decided that there was not enough evidence to take action and the issue was closed.
Action – The BOD decided that Wolfinger’s actions will be closely monitored throughout the year. He is obligated to behave properly and not partake in any team decisions. He is to act as a player/participant only. His suspension remains for one year, and he is required to petition the board for reinstatement, upon its completion.
