1.  Call to order at 12:18 PM

2. Review/ Approval of minutes of meeting held August 12, 2020 were unanimously approved

3. Financial Report – we have paid the Sarasota Parks Dept. for the fields for  remainder of the summer season. They have sent a letter stating we are 60 days late in payments. Dan Martin and Ron Grande will examine the payments and report outcome at next meeting.

 There are no outstanding summer dues to collect. 

 

OLD BUSINESS

 

1. Report from board members on signed to contact SPONSORS

2. Uniforms status 

3. Equipment – we now have 2 defibrillators. A new was purchased and a battery replacement was also purchased. DM has a new screen, BD purchased a second tamper

4. Winter draft will take place 10/19 and 10/20. It will be held at 17th Street fields. Schedule will be :

   10/19               9:00 Monday Gold 1

                              10:30 Friday Gold 2

    

10/20.             9 :00  Tuesday Silver

                         10:30 Thursday Silver

               

                            12:00 Lunch break

4. Discuss forming an umpire team made up of retired players that may want to stay involved in SSSA.
