The meeting was called to order at 1 pm. Present were Gary Goldberg, Ken Shepard, Mike Tizzani, Mike Mahan, Bob D'Angelo, Frank Lyons, Chuck Cason and George Wacaser. Not present was Mike Cox.

The minutes from the July 12th and the July 27th meetings were approved.

Mike Mahan addressed our finances. Costs for the summer championship shirts are expected to be $200 per team and the remaining field costs $818. The sponsor checks and registration fee totals up to this point were noted. In one week a new letter will go out reminding past sponsors to please continue their support. The financial report was approved by the board.

A motion to continue using Ball & Shoe as our shirt supplier was approved. An additional motion for the number of shirts for the A & B leagues to total 12 per team was approved.

A motion to eliminate the veer rule was approved. An affirmation for the continued use of rule 15 was agreed upon. A motion for the various league coordinators to report the scores for the day was approved. A motion to leave the current walk rule as is was approved.

It was agreed that all rating changes will occur by 10/5/23.

The draft sequence will be on 10/23: A leagues drafting for Mondays and Wednesdays, B leagues drafting for Mondays and Fridays.

The draft sequence will be on 10/24: B league drafting for Wednesdays, C leagues drafting for Tuesdays and Thursdays.

A motion to use 2 balls per doubleheader for every league was approved.

A discussion occurred regarding honoring two former players.

The next meeting will occur on Wednesday 10/11 at 1:00 pm.
